Blast Summer Program

The BLAST Summer Meal Program runs for 7 weeks during the summer months. To combat summer learning loss and food insecurity, Kids At Their Best partners with local organization and donors to supply free food and enrichment activities for low-income, school-aged children in Morgan County. All sites are ran by members of our TNT Program and AmeriCorps VISTAs who come to serve in low-poverty communities. We incorporate art, science, pe, music, and reading activities into the day to assist with the gap in education between school years and keep the students moving during the summer months.

We also sponsor Family Nights at each site that include game nights, science activities, and art that is fun for the whole family!
