Kids At Their Best is a non-profit that enriches the lives of children living in high poverty areas. Our summer program provides meals to children as well as STEM, literacy, and art activities at four separate sites across Morgan County. Our goal is to supply these children with the meals and education to keep their minds busy during the summer months. Our 8-week program works on a day camp model and provides employees with the opportunity to learn about non profit, education and child care experience all while giving back to their local community.
Job Title: Site Manager
Available Positions: Four (4)
Compensation: 18-20 hours a week at $13 an hour.
9:30 to 1:00 plus staff meetings
Program Start/End Date: Training June 4-8, Program June 11– July 23
Job Description: Site-Managers will oversee one of four summer sites: Log Lane, Wiggins/Weldona, Sol Naciente, Jaycee Park. Managers will be responsible for day to day operations of the program, staff members, volunteers, documentation and implementation of curriculum. Managers will also work closely with the children and make sure that the programs and curriculum are running smoothly. All staff are required to attend pre program training and will be expected to work rain or shine.
Job Qualifications: Must be a team player
Must live in Morgan County or be able to find their own housing
Must be able to commute to their site, staff meetings and KATB office.
