Welcome to the 9th Grade College Track!

This program is here to help you get through those “first year” jitters of being in high school. We will assist you on focusing on challenges that you will face and help you prepare for the next four years and beyond.

This plan of study is to help you not only set up your goals, but can assist you in mapping out how you are going to get to those goals. Most of you have 4 to 10 years before you enter your career, so it’s important to use this time to prepare for it.

Career Planning

This resource can help guide you into a direction that you want to follow for your career. Remember when you are doing this that it does not obligate you. Just because you say you want a certain career now does not mean that you can’t change your mind later.

According to John Holland, most people are one of six personality types: realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional. Click on the link above to explore each of these characteristics.

Colorado has a variety of careers to offer. Click on the Career Exploration button above to research which fields you would like to explore!

Still struggling to decide on what career you would like to do for your future? Take this career matching test and see which careers match the activities you enjoy doing!

Time Management

Many of you either have a part-time job or are looking at getting one. Having a schedule with you classes and extracurricular activities (music, sports, leadership, etc.) can show what times you have available for working at a part-time job. You can either use the template above or create your own, whatever works best for you
